The Mercedes S63 AMG came to us wanting something that was outstanding and not commonly done. The client was looking for a vinyl color change which looks like it could have come a factory offered paint color.

After going through an assortment of colors from 3M, Avery and Hexis, we ultimately decided that the Avery SW900-566 (satin metallic purple) would be the best look for his vehicle.

This vinyl wrap color has a very nice matte sheen to it which gives it a look similar to what would come out from the factory. If you look up close, you’ll notice small metallic flakes. The depth of the color is really exposed when you look at the body lines.

In order to work on this vehicle and ensure that all edges and existing paint colors aren’t visible, we removed, tail lights, handles, mirrors and all trims. By removing these parts, we can ensure that the vinyl is tucked securely behind to hid the existing white paint. Along with this better look, it also helps to protect the vinyl for longevity as the edges are not exposed.
