Tesla Model Y - Gloss Cloud Blue Car Wrap

The Tesla Model Y is the new exhilarating compact electric SUV from Tesla. It offers the same neck snapping acceleration synonymous with the Tesla brand. The Tesla Model Y borrows similar styling cues from the Tesla Model 3 albeit with a slightly taller roof.

The Adventure

This Tesla was picked up the prior week from the new Surrey Tesla Delivery Center and brought to our location in Richmond for a color change wrap.

The start of your personalized color change wrap for your Tesla begins with an appointment with our team to discuss the various vinyl wrap colors available. We pick from popular brands such as 3M, Avery, Inozetek, Hexis etc. For this specific Tesla Model Y, we chose the Avery Gloss Cloud Blue (SW900-656) as it gives off a nice blue hue while not being overly flashy. This color is incredibly unique as it appears to capture different hues depending on the environment. If you’ve ever seen the popular illusion online of the white or blue dress challenge, this will give you an understanding of the uniqueness of the color in person.

The Process

Once the Tesla Model Y is brought to our location, we expertly clean and decontaminate the paint surface and prep the vehicle for wrap. We also remove all essential areas to ensure we have a deep wrap coverage to hide any existing body paint colors on the Tesla Model Y. For this vehicle, we removed the front bumper, fog lights, headlights, side markers, trims and taillights.
