The Porsche Taycan is a stunning example of the wonders of technology and Porsche’s first foray into the world of electric vehicles. Based off the concept Mission E, this sleek sports sedan lives up to the brands high performance and racing reputation.
The Taycan is the first production electric vehicle to use a two-speed transmission and an 800-volt electrical system which allows for quicker acceleration and shorter recharge times. In theory, the Taycan is the first real competitor to the Tesla Model S. Although both vehicles have their own unique advantages, the Porsche Taycan is truly a vehicle of the future today.
For this vehicle wrap, we worked closely with Dilawri Vancouver and Porsche Center Vancouver in collaboration with Dress for the Cause.
Dress for the Cause is in support of Breast Cancer Research. Since 1998 individuals, companies, schools and organizations from all across Canada have participated in Dress for the Cause by hosting local, individual fundraising events in October in honor of International Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Dress for the Cause is part of Breast Cancer Society of Canada (BCSC). They are a non profit charity dedicated to saving lives through breast cancer research. They raise money to fund patient focused research for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
To help bring awareness, we sponsored the pink wrap on the Porsche Taycan. For this project, we used the new Inozetek super gloss cherry blossom. This bright color has history as it is reminiscent of the Porsche Pink Pig color. Porsche caused a sensation at Le Mans 1971 with the Pink Pig as it was the fastest car during the pre-race qualification session.
